It is always interesting to see who is running a website, isn’t it?  In this case you haven’t run into anyone very complicated.  I am a wife, mother and teacher who has found a calling in God to help revive an understanding of Jewish roots within the church.

My interest in Jewish Roots began over ten years ago when I went to my first Jewish Roots conference.  It was as if my heart had come home.  I had grown up with a respect for the Jewish people and their place in God’s plan, but I lived in a community where I had no first hand contact with any Jewish people.  Despite this lack, in high school I found myself consuming every book in the library that had to do with the holocaust or the beginning of the new state of Israel.  But that is as far as it went for many years.

Then came the summer when I first heard the Word of God approached from a whole new direction, from the ancient route of Hebraic thought.  It was the thinking of the Jewish sages and the rabbinic traditions that had been part of Jesus’ very core of knowledge.  I felt as if I had hit the mother lode!  The year previous to this awakening I had been to several conferences – very good ones really – each centered on a particular area or flow of God’s anointing.  When I “discovered” Jewish roots teaching, I realized that all the streams had to flow into this one if they were to be true to the Jewish Messiah that we profess to serve.

It has been a journey since then of learning, and then trying to really understand and apply what I had learned.  In accord with my teaching background I naturally began to teach and pass along the insights that I was gleaning from others – those who had paved the way in studying and teaching in this area.  Especially I have enjoyed passing along the joy I have found in beginning to celebrate the Biblical Feasts, those wonderful appointed times that have been observed and preserved by the Jewish people.  I have taught in my home and in my church and in a few other churches as I was invited.  A small start really – bloom where you are planted as the saying goes.

And along the way I observed the passion of others to see the Jewish people come to the fullness of their destiny in God.  Observing this, I began to ask God to give me His heart for His own Jewish people as well.  And in some measure He has answered that prayer.

Gradually my thoughts, goals and heart’s desires regarding these things have come to be expressed in the purposes given on the home page of this website.  I strongly desire for the church of Jesus Christ – of Yeshua the Jewish Messiah – to be able to come into a real understanding of our part in blessing Israel and in coming into the unity of the faith as the one new man in Messiah.  We have so lost our way regarding the roots of our faith and our relationship to Israel.  It is my desire to see these things restored, as they indeed must be.

This website seeks to encourage restoration of the Hebraic heritage of the church and her release into the fullness to which God has called her in the ministry of love and reconciliation.   It is my hope that it will be a help to people who are also seeking to embrace the will of God regarding Israel at this very special time – this Appointed Time!

May His Shalom rest upon you!
